dust: an addendum

and yet, we are undefined-- undefining.
we are are sliding into each other,
climbing the fences around i
and you,
softening, becoming somehow
more and less, both, at once.

  1. I guess I don't follow "dust an addendum" the title as per the poem. I like the poem, think it says something useful and says it well. But, "dust"?? Is that like in "dust thou art and to dust thou will return"? Well. Not every metaphor speaks to every person, that is the nature of language. Why it is useful and why it fails.
